Top Ten Tuesday: Five Adaptations I Still Need to See and Five I’d Love to See

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature that was created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Born from a love of lists and a love of books each week there’s a new topic for bloggers to list their ‘top ten’.

Page to Screen Freebie: Five Adaptations I Still Need to See and Five I’d Love to See

Adaptations can either be hit or miss, but lately there seem to be a lot more hits than misses (or maybe I’ve just learnt to stop judging the films too harshly and accept there will be differences to the source material). I am seriously behind on the TV shows and films I need to watch, my to-watch list is almost as long as my to-read list, so for this week’s topic I’ve picked five adaptations I still need to watch and five books I’d love to see adapted one day (because let’s face it we all want to see our favourite books on the big screen).

The Sunshine Blogger Award Part One

I do generally consider myself a ‘sunny’ person, especially considering this year I’ve been making more of an effort to prioritise my mental health, so maybe that’s why I got more nominations for The Sunshine Blogger Award. What I love about the Sunshine Blogger Award is that there are always different questions, so I can take part in this one as many times as I am nominated.

The Sunshine Blogger Award

I was tagged by Dani at Perspective of a Writer and Hannah at Peanut Butter & Books. Thank you both so much for your nominations, I had a lot of fun answering the questions you set and I hope you enjoy reading my answers.

The Great British Bake Off Book Tag

Next week is the final of The Great British Bake Off. I only started watching this show last year but now I’m hooked, and of course it seemed like the perfect time to take part in this tag (although if I was really organised I would have posted it back when the first episode aired. Oh well). I was tagged by The Orangutan Librarian. Thanks for the tag, I had a lot of fun answering the questions for this one so I hope you enjoy reading my answers just as much.

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten TV Shows I Plan to Binge Watch

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week there is a new topic for bloggers to choose and list their top ten. This week’s theme is Top Ten TV Shows I Plan to Binge Watch.

When it comes to TV shows (and movies as well but to a slightly lesser extent) my to-watch list is almost as long as my to-read list. The only problem is I can’t watch TV as quickly as I can read books, so my list keeps growing and growing and I never seem to make a dent in it. However there are so many shows on my radar, and these are the ten I will be getting around to sooner rather than later (I hope).

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Reading Recommendations for my Cousin Through the Years

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week there is a new topic for bloggers to choose and list their top ten. This week’s theme is Top Ten Books I Want my Future Children to Read.

While this could change at the moment I don’t see myself having children. However one of my younger cousins has developed an all-consuming love of Harry Potter, the series that kick-started my obsession with reading, so for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic I’ve done a list of series, author and book recommendations for her for once she’s ready to move on from Harry Potter.

Fall Activities Book Tag

The fact that I was tagged in the Fall Activities Book Tag last year at the end of fall but am only now getting around to it this year at the beginning of fall should tell you everything you need to know about the state of my tags queue. Still better late than never right? I was tagged by Lauren at Lauren’s Page Turners and Kate at Reading Through Infinity. Thanks so much both of you for the tag, I had a lot of fun with this one so I hope you enjoy reading my answers just as much.

The Candy Book Tag

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I love taking part in food tags. They always make me so hungry and this one was no exception. I almost needed a pile of candy next to me to snack on as I answered these questions. I was tagged by Michelle at Book Adventures. Thanks so much for the tag Michelle, I had a lot of fun with this one so I hope you enjoy reading my answers just as much.
