Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books that I Refuse to Let Anyone Borrow

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature that was created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Born from a love of lists and a love of books each week there’s a new topic for bloggers to list their ‘top ten’.

Top Ten Books that I Refuse to Let Anyone Borrow

When I was in high school me and my friends always used to share our books, but now not so much. Now I don’t lend my books, and not because there’s no one I can trust with them just because of my friends and family I’m the only big reader. No one asks to borrow my books anymore but even if that all changed tomorrow the ten I’ve listed this week are books I will never part with, no matter how much I may trust whoever would be asking for them.

The Sunshine Blogger Award Part One

I do generally consider myself a ‘sunny’ person, especially considering this year I’ve been making more of an effort to prioritise my mental health, so maybe that’s why I got more nominations for The Sunshine Blogger Award. What I love about the Sunshine Blogger Award is that there are always different questions, so I can take part in this one as many times as I am nominated.

The Sunshine Blogger Award

I was tagged by Dani at Perspective of a Writer and Hannah at Peanut Butter & Books. Thank you both so much for your nominations, I had a lot of fun answering the questions you set and I hope you enjoy reading my answers.

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Reading Recommendations for my Cousin Through the Years

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week there is a new topic for bloggers to choose and list their top ten. This week’s theme is Top Ten Books I Want my Future Children to Read.

While this could change at the moment I don’t see myself having children. However one of my younger cousins has developed an all-consuming love of Harry Potter, the series that kick-started my obsession with reading, so for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic I’ve done a list of series, author and book recommendations for her for once she’s ready to move on from Harry Potter.

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books I Read and Loved While at High School/Uni

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week there is a new topic for bloggers to choose and list their top ten. This week’s theme is a throwback freebie, so I picked Top Ten Books I Read and Loved While at High School/Uni.

It was in high school, after reading Twilight, that I rediscovered my love of reading and grabbed all the young adult books I could get my hands on. Since then my reading tastes have changed a lot and some books I read back then, like Twilight, I know I wouldn’t enjoy as much if I picked them up again today. My picks for this week are all books I read while I was in high school or university, that I enjoyed but haven’t re-read since.

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Things that Will Make me Instantly Not Want to Read a Book

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week there is a new topic for bloggers to choose and list their top ten. This week’s theme is Top Ten Things that Will Make me Instantly Not Want to Read a Book.

For last week’s Top Ten Tuesday post I talked about what things instantly make me add books to my to-read list, so it makes sense that this week’s topic is the opposite. You may notice a lot of these are the same, because if there is a cover design I love that makes me want to pick up a book ASAP you can believe there have been cover designs that have done the opposite and put me off books.
