Given that this is the ‘Rapid Fire’ book tag I tried to keep my answers short and, well, rapid. I’m not sure how well I did though because it’s in my nature to ramble on and go off on tangents whenever I talk. I was tagged by Lilly at Lair of Books Blog. Thanks so much for the tag Lilly, I had a lot of fun with this one so I hope you enjoy reading my answers just as much.

And I Darken

Series: The Conquerors Saga, #1
Publisher: Corgi Childrens
Release Date: July 7th 2016

No one expects a princess to be brutal. And Lada Dragwyla likes it that way.
Ever since she and her brother were abandoned by their father to be raised in the Ottoman sultan’s courts, Lada has known that ruthlessness is the key to survival. For the lineage that makes her and her brother special also makes them targets.
Lada hones her skills as a warrior as she nurtures plans to wreak revenge on the empire that holds her captive. Then she and Radu meet the sultan’s son, Mehmed, and everything changes. Now Mehmed unwittingly stands between Lada and Radu as they transform from siblings to rivals, and the ties of love and loyalty that bind them together are stretched to breaking point.
The first of an epic new trilogy starring the ultimate anti-princess who does not have a gentle heart. Lada knows how to wield a sword, and she’ll stop at nothing to keep herself and her brother alive.

The Pastry Book Tag
Another food tag, yummy! The only thing that would make completing this tag any more fun would be having a tray of pastries by my side to eat while I think of my answers. Sadly I’m going to have to make do imagining all the delicious treats described.
I was tagged by Allie at Multifandomed Book Blogger and Jenna at Fictional Neverland. Thank you both so much for the tag; everyone else should definitely check out Allie’s and Jenna’s original posts and while you’re there check out their blogs as well.

I add books to my to-read list every day, and most of the time I start them before books that have been on there for years. Below are the ten books I most recently added to my list; some are 2016 up-coming releases which I am very excited to read, and others are earlier releases which I have heard great things about.
