Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books I’ve Decided I’m No Longer Interested in Reading

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week there is a new topic for bloggers to choose and list their top ten. This week’s theme is Top Ten Books I’ve Decided I’m No Longer Interested in Reading.

I’m doing something a little different for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday (which you’ll probably have realised very quickly even if I hadn’t told you because there are way more than ten books on my list this week). Back in July last year I set a Mid Year To-Read Goal to try and get through all the books I’d brought, that were sitting on my bookshelves gathering dust, but that I hadn’t read.

I managed to get through a few but nowhere near enough, and with the new year I took the opportunity to sort through everything and decided to do a major unhaul of my books. That’s what this post is about.

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books I Added to my TBR List Last Year; Five I Will be Reading and Five I Won’t be Reading

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week there is a new topic for bloggers to choose and list their top ten. This week’s theme is Top Ten Books from X Genre That I’ve Recently Added to my TBR List.

I gave this week’s theme a little bit of a twist, and instead I went for Top Ten Books I Added to my TBR List Last Year; Five I Will be Reading and Five I Won’t be Reading. I’ll admit I’m terrible when it comes to keeping track of the books on my to-read list. Then again that’s what comes of having quarter of my TBR list on one Goodreads account, quarter on another Goodreads account, and half in my head.

The Book Courtship Tag

Way back when in January I was tagged for the first time to complete The Book Courtship Tag. Since then I’ve read way more books, fell in love with brand new series and authors, and when I was tagged again I thought ‘why not?’ There are plenty of books I love – plenty of books I picked up because of the cover or that kept me up all night – so many that I could do this tag ten, twenty, thirty more times and still have new answers for each of the questions.

The Book Courtship Tag

I was tagged by Jenna at Fictional Neverland. Thank you so much for the tag Jenna; everyone else should definitely check out her original post and while you’re there her blog as well.
