Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books on my Winter TBR List

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week there is a new topic for bloggers to choose and list their top ten. This week’s theme is Top Ten Books on my Winter TBR List.

Right now it’s all about Christmas, but in my mind the winter season runs from December all the way through to the end of February so expect to see a lot of 2019 releases on this list that I cannot wait to get my hands on. January and February seem to be the best months for book releases but that doesn’t mean I haven’t also featured a few older books which have spent way too long on my TBR list.

Honestly at this point I almost have too many backlist books to count. My TBR list is a little out of control and I keep saying there are books I’ll get around to soon but I know myself and “soon” for me doesn’t seem to have the same meaning as it does for everyone else. The ten books I picked this week are books I’d love to say are a priority of mine, books I’ve moved to the top of my TBR list, but part of me thinks they’ll still be on my TBR list the next time a backlist TTT topic comes around.

Now that I’ve gotten through more of the ARCs I have that need to be read and reviewed for the new year I’m back to tackling my (humungous) TBR list. I had a mid-year to-read goal, and by now it’s pretty safe to say I’ve kind of failed at managing it, but hopefully the ten books listed below will be more manageable for me to get through than the fifty odd that were part of my mid-year to-read goal.
