Three (More) Days Three (More) Quotes: Day 1

This has always been a favourite tag of mine so it’s great getting another chance to take part. This time though, instead of featuring quotes from favourite books of mine which is what I’ve done the last four times I was tagged, I’ve featured other quotes I loved. While one or two of them may be from books unfortunately they are not from any books I’ve yet to read.

I have been tagged for the fifth (and six) time in the Three Days Three Quotes challenge by Stephanie at Teacher of YA’s Book Blog and Meghan at Meghan’s Whimsical Explorations and Reviews. Thanks both of you so much for the opportunity to showcase more of my favourite quotes. I loved seeing what you each picked for your three days so I hope you like what I’ve picked for day one of this challenge.

sarah-williams

“I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.”

– The Old Astronomer, Sarah Williams

Fun fact, this is most commonly misquoted as something Galileo said. Before taking part in this tag again I was among those who thought it was Galileo who said it, but a little bit of research soon corrected me of that assumption.

Three (More) Days Three (More) Quotes: Day 3

This is a scheduled post as I am currently in Venice for the weekend. I’m not sure if I’ll have a decent internet connection so I’ll reply to any comments when I’m home again on Tuesday. Happy reading everyone!

Well it’s the last day of my Three Days Three Quotes challenge; versions three and four! Once again I’ve loved taking part in this tag and I hope you’ve all loved the quotes I picked too. Finally thanks again to Sammie at Bookshelves & Biros and Hannah at The Book Llama who tagged me in this one.

Three (More) Days Three (More) Quotes: Day 1

I have been tagged for the third (and fourth) time in the Three Days Three Quotes challenge. So it’s basically another excuse for me to search through all the books I’ve read, find my favourite quotes and use them to, hopefully, convince some of you to give these books a chance if you haven’t read them already.

I was tagged by Sammie at Bookshelves & Biros and Hannah at The Book Llama. Thanks so much for the tag both of you, this is probably my favourite one so really any excuse to take part again is more than welcome.

Once again I have come to the last day of my Three Days Three Quotes challenge and I have had so much fun completing this tag. Three (More) Days Three (More) Quotes: Day 2

Another quote for today, and for this go round of the Three Days Three Quotes challenge I’m picking three fairytale retellings I love. The first yesterday was A Court of Thorns and Roses – retelling Beauty and the Beast – and today it’s The Wrath and the Dawn – retelling One Thousand and One Nights – a favourite of mine.

Thanks to Brigitte at The Book and The Bone for tagging me in this challenge.
