This will probably be my last Sunshine Blogger Award post for a while. I’ve made it through all the nominations and answered all the questions so I hope you’ve enjoyed reading them all. I’ve answered questions on blogging, questions on reading and questions on myself, so if you want to learn more about me these posts are probably filled with everything you want to know and more.

Top Ten Audios I’m Currently Loving

Another week and another Top Ten Tuesday post where I’m straying from the set topic of Top Ten Outrageous Things I’ve done for the Love of Books. I’m not an ‘outrageous’ person, in fact the only thing I could think of for this topic was going to the midnight release for the last Harry Potter book, which I can’t really say is outrageous in my mind. So instead I’m going back to the Audio Freebie prompt from a couple of weeks ago and talking about some of the audios – podcasts, albums and songs – that I’m really loving at the moment.

The Playlist Shuffle Tag

I’ve taken part in the Playlist Shuffle Tag a couple of times before, but I love music almost as much as I love reading so I’m not complaining about being tagged again.  I was tagged by Meghan at Meghan’s Whimsical Explorations & Reviews. Thanks so much for the tag Meghan, I had a lot of fun with this one.

Rules:

The Happiness Tag

I like to think I’m a generally happy person. I mean I have my down days, doesn’t everyone, but compare the me of today to me the me of three years ago and I can admit I am so much happier now than I was then. I was tagged by Izzi at Ravenclaw Book Club. Thanks so much for the tag Izzi, I had a lot of fun with this one and I hope you enjoyed reading it as much.

No rules for this one, it’s just a couple of lists of things that make me happy.

The Playlist Shuffle Tag

I seem to have posted a lot about music in the last few weeks – there was my original Wordless Wednesday post, the TTT theme from a few weeks ago – it just seems fitting when music is probably my greatest love, even before reading. After all I would perfectly fine if I forgot my Kindle one day on a commute to work, but I wouldn’t be able to cope if I forgot my iPod.

I was tagged by Lauren at Wonderless Reviews. Thank you so much for the tag Lauren; everyone else should definitely check out her original post and while you’re there her blog as well. Lauren is such an amazing person, and definitely one of my favourite bloggers I’ve met through WordPress so go and give her some love.

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Five Favourite Artists and Top Ten Favourite Albums

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week there is a new topic for bloggers to choose and list their top ten. This week’s theme is an all about audio freebie, so I picked Top Five Favourite Artists and Top Ten Favourite Albums.

As much as I love reading I think I love music even more. I’d rather leave home without my Kindle than leave without my iPod fully charged and full of music to listen to on my journey to and from work. I have thousands of songs on my iPod but I listen to the same bands, the same albums, and the same tracks over and over again. So for this week’s top ten I decided to pick my favourite artists, my favourite albums and, when the comes down to it, the songs I will listen to over and over on my iPod.

Wordless Wednesday: Soundtrack to My Life

Wordless Wednesday is a new weekly tag created by Grace at Kimmie.gg. Each week there’s a new topic, unrelated to books, which will hopefully provide some insight into my life outside of reading.

Each week, I will post a topic for a Wordless Wednesday that you may answer in whatever fashion you may like. All you need to do is link back to Kimmie.gg in your post so that I can also read your content!

This week’s theme was Songs of Your Life but I adapted it a little and called it Soundtrack of My Life. I wouldn’t say these are songs that relate to turning points in my life, more songs that, no matter how much time will pass, will always be favourites of mine. Asides from books music is one of the big loves of my life. In fact I possibly love music more than I love reading because if it comes down to it I would rather leave my Kindle at home than my iPod.
