The Mystery Blogger Award Part One

“Mystery Blogger Award” is an award for amazing bloggers with ingenious posts. Their blog not only captivates; it inspires and motivates. They are one of the best out there, and they deserve every recognition they get. This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging; and they do it with so much love and passion.

I got a fair few nominations for The Mystery Blogger Award so I have done this tag in two parts. If you nominated me for this award and don’t see your questions here they’ll be in part two, along with my nominations. The Blogger Aesthetic Award

Bloggers are (let’s just be honest here) the absolute best. There’s so much diversity and personality and creativity in this community—and what better way to celebrate those things than by spending the next twelve hours of our lives hunting down and collaging the images that best reflect our individual awesomeness?

Ever since I saw this tag when it was created and posted on Liam at Hey Ashers! blog I’ve wanted to take part, and now I’ve finally got around to it. I was tagged by Diana at Diana Prince Reviews, Fadwa at Word Wonders, and Marie at Drizzle and Hurricane Books. Thanks so much for the tag everyone, I had a lot of fun with this one.

Rules:

• Collect any number of images that you feel represent you as a person—your personality, aspirations, favourite things, anything at all that makes you you.
• Put your chosen images together into a collage of whatever size and shape you find pleasing.
• Share your masterpiece with everyone, in all the places.
• Maybe nominate other bloggers as a way to tell them, “Hey, you, I think you’re awesome, and we should celebrate that awesomeness.”

Tips:

• Find inspiration by spending (minimum) three hours scrolling through aesthetic Tumblr posts relevant to you.
• Two great places to hunt for pictures are Pinterest and WeHeartIt. Pinterest requires an account; WeHeartIt does not.
• PicMonkey’s collage editor is free to use and doesn’t require an account, heck yes. YouTube has plenty of tutorials on how to use it; I watched this one (which begins with tips on how to find decent photos).

I hadn’t been nominated for this award before, so it was great to have an opportunity to take part and answer the questions that come along with it. The Versatile Blogger Award

As I feel like I am steadily running out of interesting facts about myself (I’m not that interesting people) I went with a themed fact list for this award and picked seven blogging facts about myself. Basically this became an excuse to look back over the past year and a bit of blogging on Reading Every Night and reflect a little.

I’d already been nominated for this award once before, and let me tell you I am not a positive person at the best of times so trying to come up with another seven things I love about myself was really difficult, but I managed it in the end.
