Three (More) Days Three (More) Quotes: Day 1

This has always been a favourite tag of mine so it’s great getting another chance to take part. This time though, instead of featuring quotes from favourite books of mine which is what I’ve done the last four times I was tagged, I’ve featured other quotes I loved. While one or two of them may be from books unfortunately they are not from any books I’ve yet to read.

I have been tagged for the fifth (and six) time in the Three Days Three Quotes challenge by Stephanie at Teacher of YA’s Book Blog and Meghan at Meghan’s Whimsical Explorations and Reviews. Thanks both of you so much for the opportunity to showcase more of my favourite quotes. I loved seeing what you each picked for your three days so I hope you like what I’ve picked for day one of this challenge.

Rules:

  • Thank the person who nominated you.
  • Post a quote for three consecutive days.
  • Nominate three new bloggers each day.

“I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.”

– The Old Astronomer, Sarah Williams

Fun fact, this is most commonly misquoted as something Galileo said. Before taking part in this tag again I was among those who thought it was Galileo who said it, but a little bit of research soon corrected me of that assumption.

    1. It’s one of my favourites as well, which is why I absolutely had to include it in this tag. Yeah I found that interesting as well. I always thought it was Galileo who said it but I’m glad I double checked because obviously it wasn’t. Makes me wonder what other quotes are misquoted like this one has been.
      Thanks so much Melissa! 😀
