The battle between four magical Londons comes to a head in this stunning finale to the New York Times bestselling Shades of Magic trilogy by rising star V. E. Schwab

Londons fall and kingdoms rise while darkness sweeps the Maresh Empire—and the fraught balance of magic blossoms into dangerous territory while heroes and foes struggle alike. The direct sequel to A Gathering of Shadows, and the final book in the Shades of Magic epic fantasy series, A Conjuring of Light sees Schwab reach a thrilling culmination concerning the fate of beloved protagonists—and old enemies.

“Addictive and immersive, A Gathering of Shadows cements this series as a must-read. Rich details illuminate every dimension of an extravagant city flooded with magic, and intriguing personalities evolve into complex characters…Schwab already has us anticipating the rest of the series.” – Entertainment Weekly, A

“[A Darker Shade of Magic] feels like a priceless object, brought from another, better world of fantasy books. Schwab’s writing is engaging and vivid…kept me engrossed by its story every bit as much as I was fascinated by its complex, multilayered world.” – io9.com

“Has all the hallmarks of a classic work of fantasy…Schwab has given us a gem of a tale. This is a book to treasure.” – Deborah Harkness, New York Times bestselling author of The All Souls trilogy on A Darker Shade of Magic

If you’ve been following my blog for a while now chances are you already know how I feel about this release. V.E. Schwab has become one of my favourite authors and A Conjuring of Light is my most anticipated release for 2017. I can’t wait to get my hands on this book, especially after the way A Gathering of Shadows ended.

So what does everyone think; is A Conjuring of Light a must on anyone else’s to-read list or are there any other books that you can’t wait for to be released?

      1. Ahh, the issue of the never ending to-read list. I have that problem as well 😀
Besides its probably best you wait until closer to the release of A Conjuring of Light, because once you finish the second book you won’t be able to wait for the third one!

      2. Yeah it’s such a long time to go still so I would definitely recommend waiting until closer to the release date to start AGOS!
And it’s always that way with books you’re so excited for, there is always a really REALLY long wait! 😀

    1. I think you’re definitely in for a treat! The whole series is amazing but I would advise waiting until closer to the release of the third book to start. Trust me once you’ve finished the second book you won’t be able to wait to find out what happens next! At the moment the wait is unbearable and there’s still so long to go!
And yes the covers are so gorgeous aren’t they, definitely one of my favourite designs! 😀

      1. The waiting is already killing me, I’m not sure how I’m going to survive until February! 😀
Hopefully you get to it soon-ish then (I’m the same at times, I do get distracted from books I should read by other books I really want to read)! 🙂
